Open to any male cyclist over 35 years of age and all women (no age requirement). This is a low key, fun, friendly event suitable for all competitors.
This event is based around Te Pahu – 15km southwest of Hamilton. The event will run over five races. There will be three groups (A, B, and C) plus more groups if required. Enter in the group you wish to race with (not age groups). The ‘A’ group will be the top grade. All groups will race the same circuits. Note: Each group will start separately.
The Race Director will decide the final group in which all competitors will ride in. The Time Trial (1st Stage) results will influence the group you will be allocated.
The race will be run on a point’s basis. Points will be allocated for placing in each race. 1st to 10th will be awarded points in each stage.
NOTE: If you fail to finish a race you can still ride in the next race and continue with any points you may already have accumulated. You do NOT have to compete in all stages.
POINTS – Points system starts at 1st=10 points and reduces down each placing to 10th=1 point. This system will give everyone the opportunity to place.
PRIZES - 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD OVERALL AND IN EACH GROUP. PLUS SPOT AND SPECIAL PRIZES TO BE WON!!! (You must be present at the official presentation on the Sunday to collect prizes)
