Registration / Event HQ

The 2023 Gravel Nationals will be based in Raglan.

Event Registration will be available at the below times:

Sunday 8th October from: 6:30am till 10am

Note: All riders must register and sign on during these times
The Race HQ Address is just being finalized but will be confirmed shortly.

Food Options

Coffee and Food options will be available through out the day at Race HQ. Further info on options to follow closer to the event.

Age Groups

The Gravel Nationals event will enable riders to compete to be the Gravel Nationals Champions in their own age group. The event will have the below age groups:
Under 20, 20-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 & 70-74, 75+
These will be in both Male and Female.

Important note – Females 40+ Age Groups and Males in the 60+ Age Groups will only be able to ride the 61km Ride. This will be your Age Group Championship Ride.

NOTE: Riders must be 17 years and older to compete in the Gravel Nationals 110km event and 14 years and older if with family member in the Gravel Fondo 61km ride.

Camping / Accommodation

Camping is available to be booked at the Raglan Holiday Park. You can contact the camp ground directly to book this.

Prizes and Prizegiving

The Gravel Nationals prize giving will take place at 3pm on Sunday 8th October. There will be Gravel Nationals Champions Jerseys presented to the Winning Male and Female in the Gravel Nationals 110km Race.

Important update – All Females other than the 20-39 Age Group and Males in the 60+ Age Groups will only be able to ride the 61km Ride. This will be your Age Group Championship Ride.

Gravle Fondo – Spot Prizes only.

Race Service / Feeding

There will be no dedicated Race Service vehicles, it is expected that all riders will be will self-sufficient and carry their own spares to get them back to the finish.

There will be 2 allocated Feed Zones on the course for the 110km Race. (These locations are TBC.

Personal Bags –

We are happy to take your own personal drink/food to which ever feed zone you would like. You bag must be clearly marked with Name & Number.  There will be bins for each zones, so just place it in there and we will take it to the feed zone.

This must be done by 8-30am.

Supporters

More details will be supplied closer to the event on where the best locations to spot your riders are. However Te Mata School will be an ideal spot for you.
